Light, durable and easy-to-apply one-piece ear tag. With the tag in the ear, the male side (with the pin) is the upper side. They come in strips of 10 tags for easy insertion Turbo Tagger or SET tag applicator.

This layout has one line of the number range allocated by the USDA.

Shearwell EID sheeptags are moulded from high quality plastic with the RFID (EID) component incorporated into the rigid body. Lightweight, high quality and durable, this tag offers visible marking combined with good RFID read distance and efficiency.

USDA approves Shearwell Data SET tag

Shearwell Data has been supplying sheep ear tags to customers in the USA since 2013. The sheep ear tag is approved as both a visual and an electronic RFID tag under the National Scrapie Eradication Program. In September 2019 Shearwell received approval to supply plastic (non RFID) serial and flock ID premise tags through a USDA contract. Tags purchased through this contract will be paid for by the USDA.

This layout has one line of the number range allocated by the USDA.
